Overview
The HPS2000TR extends the BW Broadcast portfolio into higher-power FM translation,
delivering up to 2kW of dependable RF output in a compact, high-efficiency
2U platform.
Developed as part of the BW High Power Series with a leading European manufacturer,
the HPS2000TR combines advanced FPGA direct digital modulation, excellent
RF efficiency and a modular architecture, curated perfectly for BW customers
seeking higher-power FM translation and network expansion.
With a wide range of configurable options available, including integrated Dynamic RDS, 5-band audio processing, GPS synchronisation for SFN applications and comprehensive remote monitoring, the HPS2000TR can be tailored to suit everything from local fill-in coverage and relay sites through to regional FM translator networks.

RENDER PENDING
In Detail
The HPS2000TR has been designed to deliver exceptional FM translator performance whilst remaining simple to install, operate and maintain.
At its core is a high-performance FPGA digital modulator, delivering outstanding audio quality, excellent spectral purity and highly stable operation across the entire FM broadcast band (76–108 MHz).
Its compact 2U, air-cooled design makes it ideal where rack space is limited, whilst maintaining RF efficiencies of up to 78% to minimise power consumption and ongoing operating costs.
With built-in Dynamic RDS and 5-band audio processing available, the HPS2000TR provides a complete translator solution without the need for additional external processing equipment.
For broadcasters requiring advanced networking capabilities, the HPS2000TR supports Ethernet remote control via a modern Web GUI, SNMP monitoring and available GPS synchronisation for SFN applications.
A modular hardware architecture and hot plug-in power supply design simplify servicing and minimise downtime, helping to keep translator sites operating around the clock.
Every High Power Series installation is different. Rather than offering a fixed specification, BW Broadcast works with each customer to configure the most appropriate solution for their technical, operational and commercial requirements. Whether you're expanding coverage, replacing an ageing translator or building a new relay network, our team will be pleased to recommend the most suitable configuration.
